Richardson
and includes the North American premiere of The Great Destroyer, an eight channel
video presentation interspersed with Group of Seven paintings from MSAC’s
permanent collections. Also on view are photographic prints from the
Supernatural Series, alongside early video works Wagons Roll and Ferman Drive, and a
dual-projection of Richardson’s most recent piece Orion Tide. An interview with the artist
about her work, conceptual and technical methodologies, and how growing up in Guelph
influenced her career will be presented on Christie Digital MicroTiles as part of the
exhibition.
