With Mexico, From Love brings together a number of artists from Latin America, including those who have immigrated to Canada or other parts of the world, but whose work remains influenced by the culture and issues of the present day Mexico. The show aims to open up a potential for cross cultural exchange between artists, as well as communities, and help to understand contemporary issues across North America. Mexico’s rich history, folklore, traditions, and craft inform the selected works, and are a departure point for the structure of this exhibition.

Over the course of the exhibition a number of elements will grow incorporating a physical exchange of objects between Mexico and Canada, and utilizing a Taco Stand as a location for discourse and activities.

With Mexico, From Love is presented by Idea Exchange and Ed Video,  curated by Iga Janik and Scott McGovern.
