Art Fair Suomi
is a unique meeting point of art for international artists, audiences,
and art professionals in Helsinki, Finland. It features booths from
artist run centres across Scandinavia, Europe, and around the world and
features discussions, screenings, performances, and social events for
participants.
Ed Video presents contemporary video, sculpture,
painting, and embroidery by four artists – Tyler Durbano, Sharmistha
Kar, Jessica Mensch, and Emily Pelstring. Together, their work will
allure audiences by creating a mysterious, voyeuristic, fetish-like
atmosphere.
A special live AV performance of Mourning of the Living Past by Inflatable Deities (Emily Pelstring and Jessica Mensch) will take place at the VIP reception.
